Clout Kingdom (a Battle Social game) · Last updated July 12, 2026
Plain-English summary: we keep an anonymous account so your game progress saves. You can enter your social usernames and follower/like counts. Profile screenshots you upload are read on your own device and are not uploaded or stored — only the resulting numbers are saved. We don't sell your data.
1. Who we are
Clout Kingdom ("we", "us") is a browser-based game available at cloutkingdom.com. This policy explains what we collect and why.
2. What we collect
- Anonymous account ID — when you first play, we create an anonymous account so your progress can be saved across visits. No name, email, or password is required.
- Your chosen handle / display name — the leaderboard name you pick.
- Social usernames you enter — the @handles you type for each platform, used to verify your uploaded screenshots are yours.
- Follower and like counts — numbers read from the profile screenshots you choose to upload. The screenshot itself is processed locally in your browser (on-device OCR) and is not transmitted to or stored by us; only the extracted numbers and your game progress are saved.
- Email address (optional) — only if you choose to save your account for cross-device sign-in. Used solely to send sign-in codes/links; never required to play.
- Push notification subscription (optional) — only if you enable battle alerts: a device token that lets us send you notifications (e.g., when another player attacks you). You can disable it any time in your browser or device settings.
- Gameplay data — troops, level, battles, and similar progress. Your handle, army size, and battle taunts ("war cries") are visible to other players as part of the game.
- Usage & diagnostics — anonymous gameplay events (e.g., "battle finished") and automatic error reports (error message and browser type) used to fix bugs and improve the game.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs (e.g., IP address, browser type) kept by our hosting and database providers for security and operation.
3. How we use it
To run the game, save and restore your progress, generate leaderboards and matchups, prevent abuse, and improve the experience.
4. Sharing & service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted providers to operate the game: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database/authentication), Resend (delivery of sign-in emails), and a public CDN that delivers the on-device text-reading library. These providers process data only to provide their services.
5. Connecting social accounts (future)
If we later offer the option to connect a social platform directly (OAuth), we will only access the specific information you authorize (such as your public follower count) and will describe it at the point of connection.
6. Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in to your anonymous account and remember settings. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Data retention & your choices
You can reset your progress at any time using the in-game "Start over" option, which clears your saved game data. To request deletion of your account data, contact us at the email below.
8. Children
Clout Kingdom is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
